Membership
Coming Aboard
New members will receive a printable membership certificate via email. The Commodore suggests printing it in color on quality paper, putting it in a nautical-looking frame, and proudly displaying it in your office or your lavatory.
There is no membership fee required (or accepted, for that matter). Membership is currently as free as the open air. No pieces of eight nor gold doubloons need be spent to come aboard.
All are welcome. You may become a member regardless of which set of labels you or others apply to you. There is exactly one distinction we recognize: members vs. prospective members.
Sailing experience is unnecessary and even quite irrelevant. It is enjoyable, though.
Membership affords you nothing more than the ability to say, "I am a member in adequate standing of the Tolono Yacht Club." You should probably add that to your resume.
Keep it clean. Swab the decks of your mind. The Commodore wishes the Tolono Yacht Club to be a friendly place where people are civilized.

Your email will not be sold, lent or given away. No one from the Tolono Yacht Club will email you with anything except your Membership Certificate. You will receive no special offers, no surveys, no advertisements, no requests for donations, no spam and certainly no salted pork.
